About Me

Welcome to zoeful,  an archaeological dig through one woman’s soul. A dig that is sure to result in some beautiful pain, silly disclosures, and the unearthing of an incredible human.

I have a tattoo that reminds me to breathe. Seriously, it’s there on the inside of my left wrist. It reads: take a deep breath.

Why? Well, I’ve been a chronic doer. An over-achiever. A live-in-my-header. And a shallow breather. So this tattoo was a necessity, and I’ve used it a ton over the past few years.

You see, more than two years ago I risked everything and that darned tattoo kept me breathing through breath-taking moments and moments that nearly suffocated me.

But I’m here now–it’s just me and my tattoo…well my tattoo and my passion and heart and…[big sigh] my name is Tracy White, and I’m so very glad to meet you!

  1. I often used “close your mouth and breath”. I use it to remind myself to shut up and think before I react. Unfortunately I am a “reacter”. Im still working on that.
    Thanks Trace nice site.

  2. I wonder… if I got a similar tattoo, would I remember to breathe? I’m afraid I would hold my breath while getting a tattoo.

  3. How ironic that I’ve finally arrived here to read your words on my first day after returning from a 24 day Dr. ordered R & R break!
I’ve been wanting to visit for a long time, but I think that the timing wasn’t right until this moment. I will be back again. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Take Care.

    • I’m so glad you stopped by, Tanya!

I’m proud of you for heeding your doctor’s advice and taking a much-needed break.

      Welcome, and come back anytime!

  4. I am just so happy to find my friend again. SO happy…
